      Death notices for him were published in the New Zealand Herald on 12 November 1968:

      "PETERS, William Arthur (Don).  On November 11, 1968, at North Shore Hospital, dealy beloved husband of Sarah and loved father of Ernest, Len, Heather and Charlie. 
      A service will be held at St Peter's Anglican Church, Killarney St, Takapuna, at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday), the funeral then leaving for Albany Cemetery.

      PETERS, William  Arthur (Don).  On  November 11, 1968, at the North Shore Hospital, dearly loved father of Heather, father-in-law of David and pa of Geoffrey and Philip.  Ever remembered by his loved ones.
