  • Notes
    • Lacy Madigan was born in 1907 at 34 Grove Street Nelson, and it wasn't until 2001 that I had the pleasure of meeting with this delightful young woman. Never before had I met anyone of Lacy's age who had such a love for life and a passion for living. Lacy had a true friend in Nola Shea and together with Nola , Lacy smiled and bubbled through each day that I spent with them. Lacy had a strong interest in her family history and I enjoyed many stories of yesteryear. In two days we visited cemeteries, photographed old houses, searched through history museums and exchanged family stories ..... two days I will never forget.
